This week the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce hosted a networking event at the Bleubird.
To say it was a success is an understatement. More than 5 times the expected participants showed up to the open house. Guests mingled and networked in the main living and kitchen areas and were also invited to tour the Bleubird. Everyone had open access to
the art gallery, yoga studio, suites, and the third floor "birds nest" event space. Many had never visited Bleubird Studio & Suites before and remarked on its charm and elegance.
Jane, the visionary owner of Bleubird Studio & Suites and event hostess, outdid herself with a spread for the guests that was equally as beautiful as it was delicious. Sunlight poured through the large windows and bounced off the bright yellow daffodils she had gathered from her own garden and used to decorate the tables. She created such a welcoming environment
that it felt more like a gathering of friends than a business event.
Guests were offered complimentary prosecco with an assortment of charcuterie and hors d'oeuvres. They had the opportunity to meet and mingle with others from all over Georgetown and discuss their trades and businesses. Even the former Mayor, Tom Prather, joined the event.
When considering a venue for your next business or social event, look to Bleubird Studio & Suites. With its warm, welcoming atmosphere, accommodating hostess, and pristine views, you'll be getting far more than just four walls.
