If you've ever wondered what that gorgeous blue house just steps away from historic downtown Georgetown is, you're not alone. The assumption is, a yoga studio; but that's not entirely the whole story. The Bleubird is comprised of many venues that blend together seamlessly into one gorgeous space.
Bleubird Gallery:
When you enter The Bleubird you're greeted by the bright and spacious Gallery. The Bleubird owner, Jane, loves to feature the art of local artists. You can take your time browsing and soaking in the artwork and even shop for prints to take home with you.
Bleubird Kitchen:
The open and inviting Bleubird Kitchen is often used for cooking classes, workshops and demonstrations. It is stocked with all the necessities and large enough to fit a crowd comfortably. Come learn, sip, sample, and enjoy time with good company.
Bleubird Suites:
The Bleubird offers two beautiful private guest rooms, each with brand new furniture, en suite baths, a shared balcony with stunning views, and a communal kitchenette. Rooms are available to book through AirBnb and VRBO.
Bleubird Yoga & Pilates Studio:
The yoga and pilates studio on the second floor is full of bright, natural light and provides a serene, meditative atmosphere. There's something for everybody with their wide variety of different yoga and pilates classes.
Bleubird Event Space:
After climbing the beautiful spiral staircase to the third floor you’ll find there's a lovely open space and crows nest. The large windows overlook the charming scenery and fill the room with natural light. The space is available for things like micro-weddings and small events. When not in use, the yoga studio space can also be rented for photo shoots or events.
So what is that big blue house?
It's an artisan community center. A place where like-minded individuals can gather to learn, create, move, express themselves, relax, and enjoy.
