About the event
The Bleubird has partnered with Debutante Events to host a delicious tea luncheon and beautiful fashion show to feature the services & products of our local women-owned/co-owned businesses in and neighboring Scott County.
Come see the latest in Spring fashions for ladies of all ages from Abby Mae's Boutique, Betsey's Boutique Shop, Em+Me and Seeds & Saplings. The Let Your Beauty Shine fashion show is sure to entertain and impress!
You will enjoy a choice of Polly Singer couture teas and the signature Bluebird Bellini, tea party finger sandwiches from Dunn in the Kitchen, breads & jams from Brushstroke Baking Co., and tea-themed treats & desserts from Sweets & Treats by Jamie, Hope Arnold Cakes, and Kaye’s Cheesecakes.
You’ll have such an inspirational afternoon surrounded by the successful and influential women of our community as they share their entrepreneurial journeys and offer support to those wanting to start their own businesses. Some very special guests, including Mayor Burney Jenkins, will be making an appearance during the luncheon. We will even be joined by a few fancy, four-legged ladies up for adoption and will be donating a portion of the event proceeds to the dog foster care program of the Scott County Humane Society.
You can't ask for a better location for a relaxing afternoon than at the Bleubird with its calming and inviting atmosphere. The Bleubird will be open for guests to explore, including the Art Gallery, currently showing John Stephen Hockensmith’s Chrysalis Project depicting phenomenal photographs of the North American Monarch Butterfly. 15% of all print sales will be donated to the Chrysalis House of Lexington.
Don't miss out on this philanthropic event that will benefit our local animal shelter, promote our local women entrepreneurs, and provide an entertaining time for all!
