There is proof out there that simply viewing scenes of nature can reduce anger, fear and stress, and can increase pleasant feelings. Bleubird is my way of connecting with nature, and I hope for you as well.
When I sit on the back porch, or walk the perimeter of Bleubird, I see hawks flying, I see alfalfa growing, and I see treetops many acres and properties away. Spending so much time in Manhattan in my adult life, my dream has come true to build a place where I can be closer to Earth and closer to myself.
Believe it or not, there is also proof that connecting with nature helps your physical wellbeing, as well as your emotional wellbeing. What a perfect addition to the circle of happiness here at Bleubird! One cannot connect without being fully connected… physically and emotionally.
Our forests, rivers, oceans and soils provide us with the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we irrigate our crops with, and inspiration of incredible wonder. What better way to round out your well-being than taking a yoga class outside and putting your feet in the grass?
